By downloading or using SmartLifter, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
SmartLifter is a workout tracking and analysis tool for iOS. It logs your training data, provides statistical analysis, and offers insights based on exercise science. It is not medical advice, not a substitute for professional coaching, and not a diagnostic tool.
You own your training data. SmartLifter stores it locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, your data syncs across your devices via your personal Apple iCloud account. We never access, collect, or store your data on our servers — because we don't have servers.
You can export your data as CSV at any time. You can delete all data by removing the app.
SmartLifter offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("SmartLifter Pro") that unlocks additional analysis features. This is not a subscription — you pay once and own it permanently. The purchase is processed by Apple and subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Refunds are handled by Apple through their standard process.
SmartLifter provides training analysis based on established exercise science principles (Epley 1RM estimation, linear regression, progressive overload). These insights are informational and based solely on the data you log.
SmartLifter is not a medical device. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace professional guidance. Training decisions are your responsibility. If you experience pain, injury, or health concerns, consult a qualified professional.
SmartLifter may use Apple's on-device Foundation Models to generate natural language summaries of your training data. These summaries are generated locally on your device and are informational only. The AI does not provide medical or coaching advice.
SmartLifter requires iOS 26 or later. Certain features (on-device AI narratives) require Apple Intelligence to be enabled and a supported device. The app works fully without these — template-based analysis is always available as a fallback.
SmartLifter is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use of the app or its training insights. You train at your own risk.
If we update these terms, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
